Pesto is the most famous Ligurian condiment in the world, a faithful traditional recipe that brings to the table all the flavors of Liguria. Ligurian tradition calls for it as a condiment for pasta, more specifically trenette or trofie, but it should be tried as an accompaniment to red meats or in savory dishes.
Ingredients: Basil, Extra virgin olive oil at origin, Cashews, Walnuts, Parmesan cheese, Garlic, Pine nuts, Salt, citric acid.
